ATP PEP I (vintage 2003) recorded a net return of 10.1 % in 2009, bringing IRR since inception to 12.9 %. ATP PEP II (vintage 2005) recorded a net return of -1.5 %, bringing IRR since inception to -4.2 %. ATP PEP III (vintage 2007) is still in its early days and performance is as expected. The activity in 2009 of purchasing and selling businesses has been low. ATP PEP I has since inception received distributions corresponding to 68 % (13 % in ATP PEP II) of paid-in capital to portfolio funds. For further details, refer to “about us – Annual reports”

Changes at ATP PEP
As of August 1st 2009, Susanne Forsingdal took over as partner of ATP PEP’s US office in New York City. At this time Klaus Rühne, who had been partner
of the office since it was founded in 2007 relocated back to Copenhagen, Denmark to continue in his role as partner.
Effective September 1st 2009, Claudio Demontis relocated to ATP PEP's New York office
This rotation in management has been anticipated since the U.S office was founded in 2007.

The annual compounded IRR of ATP PEP I (2003) was 21 % and TVPI 1.4x at end 2007. The fund has now received distributions corresponding to 58 % of investments made in the portfolio companies.
